Extrusion process can minimize the loss of the material, fast and low cost. However, extrusion of aluminum alloys is a complex and difficult process because tearing tends to occur at the surface. Therefore, Finite Element Analysis is necessary to minimize trial and error. The purpose of this study is that finding of optimal extrusion die for fabricating of Automotive Oil Control Valve by Finite Element Method. In summary, the considering geometric die design is selected to reduce the stress concentration by DEFORM 3D simulation tool.
