The purpose of this study was to examine the fun factor of baseball hobbyists influence on immersion of recreation, Also, it is analyzed how immersion of recreation impact on happiness. The research has been performed to provide basic data for sustainable value of baseball activity as hobbyists and activation of management.
The age of 20 or above adult males who are members of the baseball club has been selected as the population from May 2011 to November 2011 in Teague Kyeongbuk area, total 224 people are the member in the club. However, 207 data were recovered to analyze excluding missing 17 people, and double-filled.
The statistical program SPSSWIN version 18.0 has been applied in this study. Level p<.05 has been set as the statistical significance. Frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis, one-way ANOVA, standard multiple regression analysis have been applied as the statistical method in this study.
Cronbanch’s coefficient has been used to test the reliability of the questionnaire to determine the internal consistency between items. The conclusion of this study through the procedure are as follows; First, fun factor was shown significant difference depending on level of athletic ability and level of career. However, no significant difference has been shown depending on age, frequence of activity, or intensity of activity.
Second, immersion in activity was shown significant difference depending on level of athletic ability of baseball hobbyists. However, no significant difference has been shown depending on age, level of career, frequency of activity, or intensity of activity.
Third, there were no significant difference depending on age, level of career, frequency of activity, intensity of activity, or level of athletic ability of baseball hobbyists.
Forth, fan factor has the static correlation to the immersion of activity. Psychological fun factor has static correlation to attachment. Fulfilling fun factor has static correlation to concentration and effort. Interpersonal fun factor has static correlation to effort, attachment, and immersion.
Fifth, psychological fun factors affects the amulet happiness and self-acceptance happiness has static correlation.
Sixth, the effort, the sub-variable of immersion factor has static correlation to static happiness.
