It may be said that the person of country and recognition for the history of the citizen of country are included in a term of the history. The term ‘La Tang’ performed an abridgement of two name of a country called ‘Silla’ and ‘Tang’ and, seeing from this point of view, was made. However, the problems of this term which I have are without I am why, and borrowing ‘Sin’ which is a letter in front in the case of Silla whether you use ‘La’ which is a later letter. I have already examined it, but think that it is necessary to consider the history recognition included in the ‘La Tang’ term and the origin, thought characteristics in this connection. I am as follows when I show a result of the examination. I understand that world idea of Kokuryo of the times and the sense of superiority for neighboring nations are included in in the background in four or five centuries that I abbreviate Silla to ‘Luo’. In other words, this term is to be a product of the expression of the Sinocentrism of Kokuryo. It is thought that Silla inherits such a thought and abbreviated Kudara to Kokuryo in ‘Ryo’ and ‘Je’.
