The structural stability and morphology of the polyblends were improved greatly by ionomer functinalized polyolefin with ethylene methyl methacrylate (EMMA), linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) and ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA). Tribological and water absorption properties of polyblends were investigated by concerning type of polyolefins. Particular attention was given to form the structural stability and morphology of the polyblends to improve tribological and water absorption properties. Results showed that the critical polyolefin content and type in the polyblends was approximately 3 wt% EMMA blended polyamide-66 (PA 66). The wear resistance was improved without exhibiting resin patched and the water absorption was reduced which affect to decease in amino group. While the polyblends with high content polyolefin showed degradation of the tribological properties and decreased its miscibility between PA 66 and polyolefin. Based on the worm gear produced in 97 wt% PA 66-3 wt% EMMA, application of EPS system was discussed concerning basic performance and durability.
