All the automotive makers make efforts to meet the customer’s desire which is being varying very fast. But the limitation for development period and cost makes it very difficult that automotive makers cannot have enough time and chance to get perfect launch. Recently customer’s concerns about fuel-efficiency is growing, so a imported CVT is considered and applied to a new developed vehicle. CVT noise was issued during the process integrating the imported CVT with a new vehicle. To meet customer’s high demand for quiet vehicle, we uses many techniques to reduce CVT noise..
In this study, Imported CVT will be introduced about its major characteristics. Also experimental and CAE analysis method is introduced and can be proved to improve CVT noise
