When it comes to learning vocabulary, it is more helpful to learn expanded process of forms and meanings of the word and collocated predicatives, in addition to remembering simply the meanings of word. This is the another key to vocabulary expansion in the field of education. So far, the list of vocabulary has been adopted without considering the traits of the students and the field of education. Now the vocabulary teaching should focus on the characteristics of the students we teach. This study figured out the valuable information about the word "head" while analyzing the forms and the meanings of ‘head’ and searching for the collocated predicatives for the purpose of better education toward married female immigrants. With the findings of this study, the ‘head’-related lexicon was recomposed and proper teaching-learning strategies were proposed. The range of the study has a limit because it couldn"t deal with the all kinds of textbooks concerned to female international marriage migrants, however, if the range of this kind of study is expanded more, it is going to be another precious cornerstone for the vocabulary expansion teaching.
