This study is a qualitative research to identify life of korean ice hockey player. The purpose of this study is to identify structural issues of korean ice hockey including their life. Thus, It tries to arise an attention and to offer realistic alternatives. For the purpose, researcher, former ice hockey player, practiced observation with a team in Anyang for six months and among them four players were sampled. Collected materials were analyzed according to the method of Spradley(1979, 1980). The result of this study is followed further. First, the players are eleven-month-contracted, have a non-regular status. Second, as they maintain a non-regular status, they have economic problems and are suffering from financial burden. Thus they use public transportation because of the financial burden. Third, the team staff do not have expertise. It makes players feel huge stress. Players, however, have implicity recognized staff"s lacking expertise.
