In this paper we propose a wheelchair interface that can be operated by Eye-Tracking Solution and Eye-Tracking devices for patients suffering from ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis _ Lou Gehrig‘s disease) and LIS (Locked-In Syndrome). For this study we used laptops and an IR camera that was a converted version of a general web camera. While the IR camera films an eye, the PC Application detects the contour of the pupil to find an ellipse. Through this, we judge the direction of left or right based on the pre-set center value, and control the wheelchair through the algorithm embodied for the judgement of forward movement, backward movement, and stop that is detected by the blink of an eye.
