Recently, solar power plants widely and quickly rise and expand. Because of the cost of solar cell, the crystalline silicon solar cell is the most widely used type. However, the conversion efficiency of solar cell is still very low. Furthermore, the conversion efficiency of solar cell will be decreased while the temperature of solar cell is going up. Especially, the conversion efficiency of solar cell will be decreased 20%-25% in summer. And the pollutant like as dust, pollen, snow etc. inevitably cover on the surface of solar panel in solar power plant which block the part of incident light absorbed by solar panel. In this article, a nozzle device called HJS(Hydraulic Jet Scanner) was developed to improve conversion efficiency of solar cell by cooling and cleaning solar panel for solar power plants. Cooling performance and cleaning performance of HJS(Hydraulic Jet Scanner) were tested. The improved efficient rate under cooling, the improved efficient rate under cleaning and the improved efficient rate under cooling and cleaning by HJS(Hydraulic Jet Scanner), these three data were measured and recorded. In order to prove that HJS(Hydraulic Jet Scanner) have better performance for improving efficiency of solar cell, another nozzle device called Rotor Sprinkler was tested as a comparison other. The results of experiments prove HJS(Hydraulic Jet Scanner) has cooling and cleaning performance And HJS(Hydraulic Jet Scanner) can improve conversion efficiency of solar cell by cooling and cleaning solar panel.
