The objective of this study is the development of an automated algorithm in order to obtain the hemodynamic information for diagnosing cardiovascular diseases. The DICOM(Digital Imaging and Communications in medicine) images are obtained by using arterial angiogram. Then the program for measuring the blood flow is developed. The program is based on the vessel domain profile and it reveal blood velocities automatically. With the obtained velocity filed, it is possible to predict the locations of the recirculation region and abnormal shear stress distributions.
