A Mobile phone is most commonly used mobile device by means of information transfer among the people who are far away to keep in contact. The mobile phone’s size is getting smaller and thinner. Also, the performance which is reaction speed and data processing speed are getting improved. Sound and vibration of the mobile phone features are used when users have come to the calling and telephone message.
This paper proposes horizontally vibrating type linear actuator for mobile phone. The study analyzes performance and newly proposed horizontal linear actuator by designing horizontal vibration type actuator with the commercial electromagnetic solver, Maxwell.
