The purpose of this study is to improve the role and the function as the international airport for the case that a new international airport is located in Miryang city in future, and show development design plan to contain the necessary base institution construction and the appropriate placement of the hinterland institution for regional economy activation.
We set a spatial range in consideration for The effect that cooperated with neighboring metropolises(Changwon, Pusan, Kimhae etc.) around an area within a radius of 10km around Hanam which was a site proposed for airport. And we examined the hinterland institution example of the international airport and outskirts given condition and showed hinterland development design plan of the new southeastern international airport.
The site proposed for the new southeastern international airport is located to the Hanam in Miryang city. We set a new development axis connecting downtown area and a new international airport through this, and give international business and an interchange function to the Hanam area. And it is going to develop new town around Sangnam area from a basic point, the Miryang Station.
We elaborated a plan in utilizing it in inhabitants physical education institution, a cycle road and the green way that we set eco-axis around the waterside axis that connected Nakdong river with Miryang river cooperated with the project of Nakdong river, and utilized ecological training and Nakdong river embankment. These eco-axis will cooperate with family rest sightseeing function base, ecological experience sightseeing function base, hinterland housing complex.
