There is a growing need for online education in general. Accordingly, there is also a growing need for online theological education. This article tries to argue for adopting online theological education in seminaries. It first discusses online education: the nature and features of online education, satisfaction and effectiveness of online learning, and the structure and interaction in online education. Following is a discussion on online theological education. Reflecting a concern with online theological education, the article makes suggestions for adopting online courses in the seminaries by introducing successful cases of online theological education.
