Christian education faces new challenges in the 21 st century which includes people studying abroad as international students in multicultural environments. Using Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, this study researched the concerns and emotional essentials of international students on a multicultural campus. International students in a multicultural seminary were surveyed with the goal of learning emotional needs. A few actual incidents were also included where confidentiality could be protected. It is written from a biblical perspective of treating foreigners with the Christlike concept of the Golden Rule and to acknowledge the anxiety of culture shock. This study explored the needs of international students and ponders the angst they suffer which provides valuable insights for international students, host students, leadership of international universities, seminaries and institutions. It provides optimism for the rapprochement of unity in diversity.
