Integration of architecture studio with other supporting subjects, and training of architectural practice are getting more important in architectural design education for the purpose of reducing the gap between education and practice. This study is to examine some subject structures and subject modules enhancing the integration and practice ability in architecture degree program, and then is to seek the characteristics of integrated and practical study modules. Fourteen study module cases are investigated into three groups, which are followings. Firstly, existing lecture classes are reformed into lecture plus practice classes in order to enhance the ability to apply the knowledge. Secondly, connected and integrated study modules are widely and deeply developed with several subjects appropriate for project based learning. These are easy and simple modules to start. Thirdly, practical training such as internship or design-build studios are appropriate to studio culture and leadership, but not easy to control and program. Characteristics such as strength and weakness, of three study module groups will be helpful to diagnose and restructure the current course of study in architecture degree program.
