The purpose of this study was to analyze developed projects and participating subjects’ features, and their relationships in particular projects that were accomplished by resident participation. This study chose Sajik 2-dong, a good resident participation-type village building project in Cheong-ju city, to conduct time series analysis to investigate its development stages from initial to the current stage, and monitor the project developed at each stage from the aspect of participating subject. The result of the analysis was different according to each stage in terms of project type and detailed projects for each project developed in Sajik 2-dong. At the initial stage, project was focused on urban renewal to transform physically, but as the project developed it was more focused on village community projects to increase the quality of life of the residents and to restore the community. As the progress advanced, participants got diversified as experts and NPO joined initial members (residents and the administration). This study, which analyzed and evaluated features of building village through partnerships, will be utilized as basic data to seek ideal direction when building village in the future.
