This study is trying to increase the efficiency of management system of public athletic facilities in Chungbuk Korea. Among the various policies for the improving life-quality of the residents in the province, the policy of the establishing public athletic facilities needs to take for the efficient management by real and practical measures.
Based on the Research, the conclusion is as follows regarding the improvements of managing system.
First, the part of "sports" should be included in the "Culture Advanced Province - Policy" Chungbuk"s.
Second, local government Chungbuk have to try to possess own facilities, and the not installed complementary facilities should be filled up.
Third, to enhance the efficiency of operating, Chungbuk needs to set the new managing system for 4 wide regional areas such as northern, central, southern, Cheongju and Cheongwon. To foster harmony between the public and private use, private institutions with expertise or consignment management system take over the operating responsibility of the facilities.
Fourth, the facilities in the classified category based on the size, shape and installing subject should be adjusted by a reasonable degree of professional standards.
Fifth, the regulations, that ordain the wide-area local governments to install a total of professional athletic facilities, like playgrounds, gymnasium, swimming pool and other nationwide comprehensive sports games, should be revised, while except Seoul, Jeju Special Province any another Provinces does not thoroughly observe the rules or otherwise more powerful obligations should be imposed.
Chungbuk provincial government attempt to infuse up the happiness index through "Culture Advanced Province - Policy". Through the enhance of the efficiency can be advanced the management system of public athletic facilities in Chungbuk as a successful example, to improve the quality of life for the residents.
