This Paper explores the nature of thoughts embedded in Chinese development through analysing Marx-Leninism which underestimated Asiatic Mode of Production and Stalinlism held the view of unilinear historical development based on Marx-Leninism. In conclusion, this paper argues that it is not free from Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping which held the view of multilineal historical development. Mao put the nature of Asiatic Mode of Production-although modified-to practical use in undeveloped Chinese society, and having both the initiative to peasant revolution and People’s Commune before and after 1949. This view of multilineal historical development was also founded in the policy of which Deng Xiaoping materialized openness and reform and generated the ideas of the Primary Stage of Socialism and socialist market economy
