In this paper we discuss the communication functiong of DuFu’s poems that there was a special word “xi”(?)with the tittle, As one of the greatest poets in Tang dynasty ,DuFu was also good at the communication with his “xi”title poems(“?”??).He could use his poems as a letter and persuade the readers to change their thoughts successfully. There is a common character in the poems that DuFu used to play a joke on his friends and by this kind of form the poet expressed his view tactfully.
