The Korea government has designed and implemented a variety of policies for a balanced development of the nation and sharpen the regional competitive power. The cores of such policies may well be decentralization and innovation strategy. Especially, innovation city being linked the move of the public corporations may represent the balanced regional development policies that combine decentralization and innovation strategy. Given the foreign cases and local conditions, it will take a considerable time for such innovation cities to plat their own functions.
First, survey research methods through the literature review relevant research and leading business and domestic innovation through a case study of urban development plans and projects to promote understanding of the problem appears.
Purpose of this study an innovative city construction with the existing urban area connection with the Development Plan which emphasizes the local economy, as well as active and strategic response strategy and innovation, the city community development as a base for the role and function to perform the linkage is to find ways to cooperate.
