In the past, vestigial organs have often been considered to be the product of regression, as certain parts of the human body turn defunct. But through the development of life sciences, it has been proven that every corner of the body carries an unique function. Likewise, there have been discussions about the role of pseudogenes and its function as a regulative element. Until now, non-coding RNA had been deemed redundant, understood only as untranslated protein in DNA transcript form. But recent research have indicated the contrary, that non-coding RNA have important regulative functions. The focus of this manuscript is to demonstrate that in all life forms, every tissue and organ plays a distinct structural function and there is nothing to discard.
