Purpose ? The purpose of the study is to review the previous empirical studies on the locational determinants of FDI. This study also provides their limitations and suggestions for future study.
Design/Methodology ? The methodology of this study is based primarily on literature survey.
Findings ? It was found out that three major locational determinants of FDI are economic, political risk, and institutional factors.
Implications ? The results of this study provide some helpful insights for future study concerning locational determinants of FDI by Korean firms.
