Objective: The purpose of this study investigated change of oxyhemoglobin in by 92% highly concentrated oxygen administration. Background: Administration of the air with 30% oxygen compared with normal air (21% oxygen) enhances verbal cognitive functioning through increased activation in the brain. Method: 8 males(average 25.3±1.0 years), and 7 females (average 22.6±1.6 years) in 20s people were selected as the subjects for this study. The each run consisted of four phases, i.e., Rest 1 (3 min.), Adaptation (3 min.), Hyperoxia (3 min.) and Rest 2 (5 min.). Results: Oxyhemoglobin was increased during hyperoxia compared to Rest 1(p=.018). Conclusion: There was a significant increase oxyhemoglobin in Hyperoxia phase compared with Rest 1 phase. Application: It expected hyperoxic air increase oxyhemoglobin in the brain, lead to more available oxygen to the brain, thus increase the ability of cognitive processing using non-invasive instrument.
