The purpose of this study is to evaluate the application of ventilation standards of major countries as a proper ventilation air volume in multi-zone of apartment house to maintain indoor air quality. In korea, an enforcement regulation for ventilation in the apartment house was revised that ventilation must be operated with air volume more than 0.7ACH(Air Change Rate). But we don"t know if it is proper for IAQ(indoor air quality) and against many of pollutant sources in the apartment house by occupant schedules. Beside, outdoor air is very mainly heating load, we must decide the proper ventilation air volume for energy conservation. We intend to analyze ventilation standards applied in an apartment house by occupant schedules and operate simulation program to estimate IAQ in each room. And than, more detailed schedule to be applied with optimum ventilation strategies with proper air volume for IAQ control and energy requirement simultaneously.
