Digital electronic cameras become better and better in quality very fast. They capture images using CMOS or CCD sensors. They captures motion pictures digitally, in a process analogous to digital photography. There is no clear technical distinction that separates the digital film type CMOS camera from Digital CCD camera. The term “film type digital camera” is usually applied only in cases where digital acquisition is substituted for film acquisition. If you want to find out which digital camera system you should use, you need to have a clear understanding of the factors that influence a sensor’s function and integration into a camera’s design. This study will clarify how differentiate between Film and Digital Imagers (CCD and CMOS sensors) and touch upon the concepts. CMOS and CCD sensors do the same basic job. They are gathering light and turning it into a video image. They go about it in different ways, and the differences can have very significant impact on footage. We have to know how they affect our footage. The first generation of CMOS cameras was not a major issue in digital world. But it is now more important than ever before. CMOS will be a more appropriate choice for film type digital camera. CMOS sensors can scan and offload their footage quicker. It become new opinion how you can optimize your results. We know that there are many reasons to do it in a different way. If the side effects from Sensors are well known, we know how to deal with it and minimize or avoid it. But the new artifacts/characteristics that come from the new CMOS technology are likely to provide some nasty results. We’re likely to see more and more rolling shutter issues crop up, as the technology becomes more widespread. Film type CMOS cameras see more details than just high Definition cameras. As well recording systems with compression can cause big trouble from noise or other artifacts. We need to educate ourselves to understand what the main issues are. We have to prepare ourselves for whatever steps we need and make sure that there are no unexpected results in our footage.
