This study was done to identify the relationship between self-rated health status (SRHS) and the components of ICF framework. For the study, 158 elderly persons using senior citizen center were interviewed, measured and evaluated from June 23 to July 22, 2008. We used descriptive analysis to identify general factor, chi-square test to identify the personal factor, and Pearson correlation test to identify the relationship between SRHS, environmental factor, activity & participation and body function. The study showed that body function, activity & participation, personal factor, environmental factor had a significant relation to their SRHS. To sum up, health is a complex state of things, not only affected by body function but also environmental and social interaction. To promote and manage the health of elderly who use senior citizen center, applying the ICF can be very effective, which improves usefulness of the sociological model.
