This research is to observe the relationship among teenagers" sports participation, their peer relationships and violent behavior. 487 middle and high school students were selected using stratified cluster sampling method, and the data achieved was analyzed through ANOVA, multiple regression analysis, and path analysis. The results are as follows:
First, there were significant differences in each student"s peer relationship and violent behavior, depending on individual characteristics. Second, whether the students participated in sports had a significant impact on communication and conflict resolution in peer relationships. Further, it was observed that the frequency of sports participation affected communication, confidence and conflict, while conflict resolution were influenced by the frequency of the participation. Third, whether the students participated in sports had a significant impact on inflicting violence in violent behavior. Fourth, confidence and conflict among peers had a considerable impact on violent behavior. Finally, it was concluded that there was a cause-and-effect relationship between the degree of sports participation, peer relationships and violent behavior.
