The purpose of this study is to develop a Web-based Life-Cycle Cost analysis model limited to Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning(EPCC) for LNG plant project. A survey has been conducted to investigate and analyze the cost items of five construction companies. Research results can be summarized as follows. Firstly, cost classification system is developed by analyzing the cost data of engineering-centric from EPCC. Secondly, a risk assessment model for life cycle cost(limited to EPCC) that accounts for risk factors is conceptually designed. Based on the cost classification system and risk assessment model, a prototype model to analyze life cycle cost limited to EPCC is developed by utilizing the excel-based @Risk software. Through forthcoming test-bed experiments on construction site, a web-based analysis system will be developed to improve the prototype model.
