The purpose of this study was to find the effects of regular exercise on geriatric hypertension and diabetes mellitus as well as immuno-function according to different time slot in 40 elderly women. The subjects were confined to daybreak (06:00~08:00) exercise group(DEG, n=8), morning (10:00~12:00) exercise group (MEG, n=9), and afternoon (14:00~16:00) exercise group(AEG, n=10). The exercise program was operated for warm-up (10min), work-out (30~45min), and cool-down (10min) at five day per week for 24 weeks. The results were as follows: At first, the variables of geriatric hypertension risk factors (SBP, DBP) were significantly different to SBP in time as well as interaction and DBP in time. Also, SBP and DBP decreased AEG>MEG>DEG. At second, the variables of geriatric diabetes mellitus risk factors (BG, HbA1c) were significantly different to BG in time. Also, BG decreased MEG>AEG>DEG. At last, the variables of immuno-function were significantly different to WBC, Nseg, Lym and Mono in time. Also, WBC increased AEG>MEG>DEG, Nseg increased AEG>MEG>DEG, Lym increased MEG>DEG>AEG and Mono increased DEG>AEG>MEG. As results of these conclusion, this study have shown and I thought that daybreak exercise was very effect of improved in Mono, morning exercise was very effect of improved in BG, HbA1c, as well as Lym, and afternoon exercise was very effect of improved in SBP, DBP, BG, WBC, as well as Nseg. It could think that should be more effect of exercise with time of day.
