The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the Kim Myung In;s poem by the sense of ‘Seeing’. To see and poetic words derived from seeing are words of high frequency in his poem. This means that his poem is composed of ‘Seeing’. Act of Seeing construct a poetic landscape and the meaning of landscape is exposed by seeing in Kim Myung In;s poem. The image of a wave pattern appeared in Kim Myung In’s poem is representative result of seeing. But poetic words derived from ‘can not see’ appeared more frequently than poem that published in 1990’s. The tendency The poetic words suggested a hole are representative image in this phenomenon. This change indicates the individual experience or epistemological turning point of recent korean poetry. But Kim Myung In’s poem sticks to traditional lyricism by emphasizing seeing. And this means that the attitude to self-reflection is an intrinsic attribute of Kim Myung In’s poem.
