This study is a descriptive study to examine perception and knowledge of health, and health promoting behavior of the elderly, and the correlation among the factors. The subjects for this study were 268 people over the age of 65 residing in Seoul. The results of this study are summarized as follows:As to the relations among health perception, health knowledge and health promoting behavior, the study showed positive results with health perception(r=.689) in the group of people who exercise. Health promoting behavior showed a positive correlation with health perception(r=.595) and health knowledge(r=381), and also a positive relation was observed between health perception and health knowledge(r=.285) of the Controlled Group. The results confirmed that there was strong relationship the relations among health perception, health knowledge and health promoting behavior, the study showed positive results with health perception in the group of people who exercise.
