This study aims at clarifying the aspect of combination between the ending suffixes of informal style and the ‘-yo’, and the non-ending suffixes and the ‘-yo’. This study, also, aims at clarifying complement features of ‘-yo’(the general honorific morpheme and head) and head features of the complement analyzing the various structures related to ‘-yo’ with the combination materials between ones of informal style and ‘-yo’, and non-ending suffixes and ‘-yo’. This study, further, clarifies aspect of what the principle of full interpretation(PFI) applies the constructions of ‘-yo’ through the checking process, and what is the shape of LF representation. The ‘yo’ requires [-neutral], [+phrase], [+dependancy] as the complement features. If the construction of complement does not have one at least among them, the sentences included in ‘-yo’ puts the formal features on LF representation. As the result, the LF collapses due to uninterpretable features. That means the speaker(or listener) regards the construction to error one. If the construction of complement have all, the sentences puts the interpretable features only on LF representation. As the result, the LF representation goes correctly to conceptual-intentional system. (Daegu University)
