When it comes to the design of school uniform skirts, aesthetic satisfaction cannot be achieved simply through design modifications; what would be desirable instead would be for the design of the school uniform to give physical satisfaction not only by satisfying the aesthetic desires of students through a harmonious clothing style that suits their physical characteristics, but by accurately grasping the aesthetic desires of students to fashion trends.
As a result, based on the pattern mostly evaluated in each item, the research skirt was sensory-tested in the same method as the vendor’s patterns by modifying and supplementing the patterns with front waist girth W/4+1㎝, rear W/4+0.5㎝, front hip girth H/4+1.5, and rear H/4+1. The results showed that all items were evaluated well. In particular, the hip girth evaluation increased in the appearance test, and was good in the overall fitting item. The modification of the waist and hip areas graded low in the motion appropriateness evaluation, resulting in increased study patterns.
