The 10 house plans, designed by Park, Kilyong from 1926 to 1933 and published in the journal "Real Life(實生活)" in 1932-3, although not remained and some not actually built, are significant in that they mark the first application of his survey of traditional Korean houses to actual sites. In the 10 houses, Park's concepts of life convenience, hygiene and aesthetic application, which he got from the survey, were applied ti design practical houses with consideration of site conditions, clients or budget. This paper interprets his ideas concerning the concepts in the following ways. First, as for its relationship with the human traffic from entrance hall through hall or corridor to each room, the life convenience and hygiene had significant reason for it. Second, the 10 housings can be divided 4 types along with the human traffic, the types had common features in the concepts. Third, aesthetic application was applied to the exterior of the houses as western housing style with less effort than the other 2 concepts.
