The aim of this study is to discuss strategies for invigorating eco tourism in Gangwon province by operating a variety of experiential and educational programs through the establishment of eco educational institute.
Specifically, this study is to suggest ways to establish ecosystem specialized education and research institutes and vitalize eco tourism based on the results from the survey on subject regions, which shows the preference for facilities of the tourists in relation to eco tourism.
Hence, community based and unique eco-environment needs to be introduced and detailed marketing and operational strategies are required. Local communities should realize eco tourism governance through the collaborative planning of related parties.
