Mashups have become one of hot trends in the Web application area because of its ability to improve user experience. Users can get web content, presentation, or application functionality from disparate Web sources and sites in one portal. Location-based mash up service abounds nowadays. It is for the reason that many users need the location-based services to get the geospatial information. In fact, a problem occurs when the users also want to get specific information of location use, nearby people or objects, as well as the changes to those objects over time over the course of the day. In order to solve this problem and to get more improvement in user experience; context-aware concept is being added to mashup services. This paper presents the merging of mashup service and context-aware concepts. Furthermore, this paper using collaborative filtering (CF) method, a recommendation system for determining the content of mash up services. The goal of this paper is to present mashup service which using a new approach of collaborative filtering system which combines self-organizing map (SOM) algorithm and context-aware CF system. Future work is also proposed in this paper to develop and enhance previous works.
