This study hears some voices of poor children concerning how they feel their lives are circumscribed by living in poverty. Twenty-two poor children were interviewed using photograph of different economic level homes(poor house versus non-poor house). The ideas of utilization photograph to interview children is borrowed from Weinger. Poor children indirectly expressed their thought and feeling through the imaginary poor children and non-poor children. Findings reveal that poor children describes imaginary poor children as "good children", "good son", "poor little children". Imaginary poor children are very concerned about caregiver's heath and financial problems. Also, they have negative self-understanding in contrast with non-poor children. Theses children's thoughts about the realities of their lives helped to make some suggestions for social work practices.
