The purpose of this study was to see leadership styles of Taekwondo teachers and their relationships with self-oriented and goal-oriented athletes. Also, this study sought to explain the difference in the socialization process of youths learning Taekwondo through previous studies and statistical data. First, the t-test results indicate that there is a significant difference in Taekwondo leadership style along gender relations. In terms of authoritative style, the average for boys was 3.30a nd 3.34 for girls. The t-score was -.489 and the level of significance was tested at .05. Second, in terms of the differences among the Taekwondo leadership style of the teams, high school team scored 3.38, college team 3.27, and professional team 3.06 regarding the authoritative style. The level of significance was tested at .05 with the result of F=3.968. Compared to high school team, the professional team had scored lower. Third, the regressional analysis of the impact of leadership style on goal-oriented athletes resulted as .121. This explains the overall change of 12% and the value of F was 9.724.
