The given job is devoted to the Reconfigurable Optical Add/Drop Multiplexer (ROADM) based solution which can help service providers to solve the problems during planning and construction of optical network. ROADM makes the transmission networks more flexible Its future is bright. Along with the solution of the key problems at the optical layer and maturity of corresponding technologies, the ROADM will play a more and more important role in optical transmission networks.
