In this paper, the test bed for train control systems is proposed. The design of test bed for a
CBTC(Communication Based Train Control) system is proposed and implementation result is shown. By designing the test bed to be interfaced with interlocking systems and ATS(Automatic Train Supervision) systems, a train control system can be tested together with those systems. The test bed provides the functions of wayside equipments like rail, switches, balises and PSMs(Precision Stop Marker) and the dynamic train model. The test bed is interfaced with real systems and the interface is defined strictly. We provide the result of the test conducted for the CBTC system on the proposed test bed.
