When traders choose their payment system, they should consider the following matters of international trading: an exporter's credit risk in collecting payments, an importer's risk of non-acquisition of contracted goods or the possibility of obtaining disqualified goods, all the necessary travel expenses, the traders' burden of keeping and managing contracted goods, foreign currency acquisition, establishment of an appropriate base for the payment system, and finally the economic complexity and reliability along with access to the payment system.
The TradeCard system is an integrated electronic payment system to cope with the internet and cyber trading age. Its excellent system makes it possible to deal with business procedure electronically as well as simply and promptly, and provides various payment services such as AAP/BAP with/without protection and IP.
Furthermore, it carries the advantages of L/C and collection systems through the payment guarantee by Coface and the check engine function about the document identification.
In this paper, I will look into the possibility of the TradeCard system's settlement and applications in the future international trade, and suggest some methods to increase its utilization.
In order to rate its possible applications, I come up with some factors about the payment system traders choose in the course of concluding international transactions, and then analyze the mechanism of the TradeCard system.
