The summit conference is scheduled in the coming June, between South and North Korea. And the subsequent economic exchange would bring a considerable changes at the northern part of Kyonggi Province, where the local economy and living environment have been fallen behind.
Most of all, the broken traffic routes are required to connect in the borderline area, to assist the mutual exchange of people and goods. “Cooperative Project on Natural Resources and, the Complex for Socio-cultural Interchanges”, are expected at the next stages. And the Protection Law for the Military Base should be revised, to meet the rapidly changing environment in the military and political context.
For the effective operation of this historical project, the hierarchical relationships should be set, between the general planning system and this project, and more strategic approach is required rather than making of blueprint plan.
