The purpose of this paper is to study on south-south conflict related to North Korea. this thesis applies deliberative poll, consensus conference, and citizen jury to resolve south-south conflict, different to other thesis.
South-south conflict in Korea started from structural elements, which are regionalism and anti-communism. As regionalism grows more serious, ideological conflict took the heart of south-south conflict. Ideological conflict is shown especially relationship between South and North Korea and extended to interfere unite of our society overlapping with region and generation conflict.
State, political society, and civil society has been working to resolve the problem among these situations. As this thesis presents, participatory solution of conflict is for the state, political society, and civil society to cooperate and resolve.
Participatory solution of conflict has strength and weakness in a point of view of representativeness and consideration. Therefore, it is right to take into consideration of each model's characteristic and transform flexi-bly to apply to solve the problem. If we can supplement each partici-pating method, maximize the effect and contribute to solve the conflict.
People's confidence to that supervise agency is the most important factor for solving conflict by participatory method to win or lose. For government agencies, political. parties, and citizen society organization to gain confidence of people is the key to solve conflict of our society.
