The main aim of this study is concentrated on comparisons of identical and distinctive aspects of Susim Ga, particularly in format and contents of Susim Ga, which were contained in Jabga Jib as well as Phonograph records. Up to the present, most of Susim Ga studies have been more focused on comparisons of changes in the musical aspects rather than the aspects of literature.
Basically, Susim Ga is Seodo Minyo(one of famous Korean traditional -song factions) and frequently contained in Phonograph records, which means it represents public interests and popularity as well as founds on distinctive format and contents between Susim Ga in Jabga Jib and Phonograph records. To sum up, Susim Ga in Jabga Jib is seriously focused on the aspects of literature to be read time to time whereas Susim Ga in Phonograph records is focused on the musical aspects to be appreciated by listening - so it should be concluded that the changes of Susim Ga in two different aspects are inevitable facts. Another important fact, which influences the changes of Susim Ga, is that composers put different reflections and interests on their collections, while they were creating new Phonograph records.
On the other hand, the similar aspects of Susim Ga can also be found in both collections throughout the changes, for instance, in aspects of contents, it contains emotions of human life, which can be described by the meaning of separations in human relationship, mutual love and praise of life. The lyrics connected to the emotions of human life were spiritually related to Korean traditional songs, which had been very famous among the commoners in Korean history, and such emotions of human life can be easily found in Korean traditional songs as favorite themes. Because those themes had been inherited traditionally from generation to generation and eventually, they became characteristic emotions for the commoners in the past.
As a researcher in Korean classic literature, at first, I compared the formats of Susim Ga, and then analyzed them in details - more concentrated on analyzing the aspects of contents rather than the aspects of the formats. And, additionally, although it was not related to the main topic of this article, during the study, beside the necessity of studying Susim Ga and Bul Nol-i, I keenly felt the necessity of studying Susim Ga and Korean modern poems in relation to aspects of literature.
