To see the methodology of North Korea's movies, we should investigate the discourse on "North Korea's film" carefully. The conclusion follows as below.
First, North Korea's society is an unique interpretive community and turn down the critical skepticism from other countries. Macroscopic and microscopic discourses are only one unit upon the political argument in North Korea. North Korea is very unique social-political language community.
Second, the movies of North Korea are in the process of realism. The process are as follows below.
"The elegant realism → Proletarian internationalism → Socialistic realism → Juche realism(Juche means N.K's ruling principle) → The superiority of Chosun people(Chosun means North Korea)"
In this process, North Korea's film is an practical instrument of ruling ideology of North Korea which never accept the reflection and skepticism on North Korea.
The premise is that The discourse between country and a person is coincidence.
As a result of this premise, North Korea's movies work well as ruling instrument.
Third, Kim Jung-Il's film art theory is absolute theory system and practical direction system. The theory system and practical system of "film art theory" is composed of seed and speed theory on humanism literature. While the seed theory is a creative method which encourage North Korean to realize the ideology and ruling principle of the labor party of North Korea, The speed theory is the procession of creation to practice principle and ideology of North Korea.
The problem is that North Korea's movie art theory and creative method and the procession of creation are against official approval from general art theories.
The discussion of North Korea's film should start with the premise that North Korea's film is "North Korea's own film".
