Results of a detailed statistical study of inelastic displacement ratios to estimate maximum inelastic displacement demands from elastic displacement demands of strength-limited bilinear SDF systems are presented. The influence of period of vibration, level of lateral yielding strength, site conditions, ductility factor, strain-hardening ratio, post-capping ratio are evaluated and discussed. the nonlinear Response History Analysis was conducted using 240 ground motions which are classified B,C,D according by NEHRP. the follow limited objects of strength limit bilinear SDF systems in this study were consider. the fundamental periods were from 0.2 sec to 4 sec step by 0.2 sec. the strength reduction factors of SDF system were less than 8. strain-hardening ratio were from 3 % to 20 % of elastic stiffness. the negative stiffness ratios of softening rage were from -0.1 to -0.5 of elastic stiffness to consider P-△ effects. the ductilities were from 2 to 6 to analysis the response of brittle system as well as ductile system. By conducting nonlinear regression analysis, the parameter which influence the inelastic displacement ratio of strength-limited bilinear SDF system were evaluated using statistical analysis.
