The performance of the SWRRB model was evaluated for simulating the hydrology of the 163.7㎢ Boryeong-Dam watershed, a predominantly agricultural and forest watershed. The model was calibrated for a three-year period (1998 through 2000) and verified using an independent four-year period (2001 through 2004) by comparing the simulated and observed daily streamflows. To study the effects of change of input data on annual and seasonal stream flows, hydrologic simulation is performed. Tn general, the simulated daily stream flows compare satisfactory with observed daily values, indicating some disagreement between measured and observed streamflows. It seems that the major reasons for the disagreement are because of the inaccuracy of observed streamflow data at the Boryeong-Dam watershed and because of the difference of natural environment condition between Korea and the United States. Bulk density and available water capacity have an effect on soil water storage and consequently have an effect on streamflow. However, these two variables, bulk density and available water capacity, do not have large effect on streamflow, compared with curve number. Streamflow at Boryeong-Dam watershed is relatively insensitive to maximum leaf area index and maximum rooting depth. Streamflow is sensitive to air temperature and solar radiation.
