This study is to predict energy independence in Green Home by energy performance evaluation and present fundamental data of heating and cooling system by optimal design and energy analysis about Ground Heat Source Heat Pump(GSHP) system as a alternative. Green Home analysis was carried out with consideration over energy of heating, cooling, domestic hot water, lighting and equipment while heating-centered energy analysis was avoided. The Green Home will be built in Chung-nam and was planned at 167㎡ and 2nd floor. The structure was reinforced concrete and such key technologies as super-insulation, super-window, economizer, shading system and GSHP system were applied. Also base model which meet domestic construction law was selected for key technology analysis. As s result of simulation, heating, cooling, hot water, cooking and lighting energy consumption of base model were 101㎾h/㎡, 39㎾h/㎡, 17.36㎾h/㎡, 16.6㎾h/㎡, 24.76㎾h/㎡ respectively. In case super insulation of 250㎜ is applied at building surface, heating and cooling energy can be reduced by 28.6% and 1.5% respectively. However, if economizer is installed, cooling energy is increased by 28.6% while heating energy is decreased by 35.9%. In case super-windows are installed, heating energy is decreased by 15.1% but cooling energy is increased by 16.3%. If three of key technologies and shading system which can prevent indoor temperature rise by insolation are applied, 52.9% total energy consumption (heating 20.2㎾h/㎡, cooling 27.9㎾h/㎡, cooking 16.6㎾h/㎡, hot water 17.36㎾h/㎡, lighting and equipment 24.76㎾h/㎡)can be reduced. If GSHP system is installed, heating and cooling energy can be decreased by 90%.
