The purpose of this research is to see what relationship between the various psychological factors such as mental image, establishment of target, relaxation, emotion control, condition control and soliloquy based on the purpose inclination of Taekwondo players. The subjects are 330 of Taekwondo players registered on the 2008 Korea Taekwondo association and performed the questionnaires using the convenience sampling and 309 sets besides the 21 sets that were answered neglectedly are practically used for the analysis. Achievement purpose inclination questionnaire which is the translated Duda's (1992) Task and Ego Orientation in Sport Questionnaire: TEOSQ that was used by Kim, Byungjun (2001) and the questionnaire of Test of Performance Strategies, TOPS which was developed by Thomas, Murphy, & Hardy(1999) and was tested by the suitability process of Kim, Byungjun/ Oh, Soohak (2002) were used. If we review the result of the research, in correlation analysis of Taekwondo players, subject inclination (.569) has more correlation than self inclination (.341). However, both subject inclination and self inclination have static correlation with psychological strategy. In order to analyze the causal relationship between the purpose inclination and psychological strategy, as a result of by stage multiple regression analysis, subject oriented inclination has static causal relationship with soliloquy. condition control, relaxation, emotion control and self oriented inclination has more causal relationship with the psychological strategy.
