Language is one of the means to express meanings and emotions of human beings, and is also an important tool for thinking and communication in human society. All the behaviors and activities are languages and words, which are "symbols of thoughts." As time goes by, the differences of cultures cause different phenomena. The structure of Chinese has a special influence on the spirit and culture of Chinese people.
Because Chinese is single-syllable and isolating, Chinese characters have contrary structure which further results in symmetry. It enables us to cleverly arrange syllables, phrases and sentences to express our thoughts in detail and therefore form the artistic nature of Chinese. This article attempts to describe the feature of Chinese isolating language, which transmits deep thoughts through the shape and sound, which are the surface layer of language. The semantic thought is the center of a culture.
Therefore, the surface and inner layer of language are a united cultural carrier, which synchronically interprets semantic culture and demonstrates the linguistic and cultural thinking to be derived from the same origin. Using a language under a certain structure of thoughts for long will result in a model which is cultural model when it reflects thoughts and cultures. That is where people's values lie within.
